FC Bayern Munich legend Thomas Müller has officially agreed to join Major League Soccer side Vancouver Whitecaps on a two-year deal. The 35-year-old forward has opted against retirement, choosing instead to embark on a new chapter in his illustrious career in North America.

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on X, writing: “Thomas Müller to Vancouver Whitecaps, here we go! Deal done for German legend to join MLS side. Two-year deal in place for Müller, who won’t retire and starts new chapter in MLS as he wanted. Deal agreed, as @TomBogert and BILD reported—Müller said yes today.”

Müller leaves Bayern Munich after an extraordinary 17-year spell, during which he became one of the club’s most iconic figures. He scored 250 goals in 756 appearances for the Bavarian giants, helping them secure numerous domestic and international titles.
