Liverpool left-back Kostas Tsimikas has officially completed a loan move to AS Roma, where he will stay until June 2026. The Greek international departs Anfield after five successful seasons under Jürgen Klopp and Arne Slot, marking his first spell in Serie A.

Tsimikas, 28, joined Liverpool from Olympiacos in 2020 and has since made 115 appearances for the Reds. Known for his technical ability and precise deliveries, he has also represented his country, Greece, on 41 occasions. Before his Liverpool career, Tsimikas developed at Olympiacos and enjoyed loan spells with Esbjerg fB in Denmark and Willem II in the Netherlands.
The defender leaves Anfield with an impressive trophy cabinet, having lifted seven major honours with Liverpool, including the Premier League title in 2024/25 and the FA Cup in 2021/22.

“Kostas Tsimikas to AC Milan, here we go! Loan deal agreed with Liverpool as he’s been authorized for travel and medical tests. AC Milan will cover his salary until June as Tsimikas really wanted the move.”
Tsimikas’ arrival bolsters AS Roma’s options at left-back, providing depth and competition in Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad as they continue their push in Serie A and European competitions.
