Cremonese Agrees To Sign Leicester Legend Jamie Vardy

The 38-year-old striker Jamie Vardy is set to play in Italy after a legacy at British top-flight.

Jamie Vardy will play for Serie A side Cremonese on a one-year contract. Foxes’ legend departs after scoring 200 goals in 500 appearances. The agreement also includes a +1 year option in case the team rescues relegation.

The right-footed Englishmen played for FC Halifax Town and Fleetwood before joining Leicester in 2012. In his 13 years of journey with the Foxes, Jamie became the club’s leading goal-scorer of all-time and also won five trophies, such as:

  • Premier League (2015/16)
  • EFL Championship (2013/14 and 2023/24)
  • FA Community Shield (2021/22)

For his nation, Vardy earned 26 caps and scored seven goals.
