AFC Bournemouth have completed the signing of Amine, with the 25-year-old striker ready to begin his Premier League career in the 2025/26 season. The Moroccan forward arrives from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, where he spent four successful years. Bournemouth will be the third club of his professional career, following spells with Toulouse and Leverkusen.

Known for his clinical finishing and strong left foot, Amine rose to prominence under Xabi Alonso at Leverkusen, scoring 10 goals during their historic double cup-winning campaign in 2023/24. His move comes as the Cherries undergo a significant squad rebuild after losing key players Milos Kerkez to Liverpool, Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid, and Illia Zabarnyi to PSG.

Manager Andoni Iraola is expected to rely on Amine to provide attacking depth and form a strong partnership with Antoine Semenyo as Bournemouth aim to establish themselves in the top half of the table.

According to BBC Sport, Bournemouth have already spent over £346 million in transfers since American billionaire Bill Foley took over the club. The signing of Amine underlines the club’s ambition to compete at a higher level in the Premier League.

After proving himself in German football, Amine will now look to adapt quickly to the intensity of the English top flight and deliver the goals that can meet Iraola’s expectations at the Vitality Stadium.
