1. Viktor Gyökeres – Striker
Arsenal signed Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting CP for a €63.5 million (£54.8m, $74.2m) fee, with €10 million in add-ons. The 24-year-old Swedish striker is known for his prolific goal-scoring ability and physical presence up front.
Gyökeres previously played for clubs including Brighton & Hove Albion, Coventry City, and Sporting CP. At Coventry, he scored 43 goals in 116 appearances, and at Sporting, he netted 40+ goals in each of his last two seasons. He also helped Sporting win back-to-back Liga Portugal titles (2023/24, 2024/25) and the Taça de Portugal. In European competitions, he contributed 15 goals in 26 games.
2. Cristhian Mosquera – Centre-Back
Spanish centre-back Cristhian Mosquera, 21, arrives from Valencia for €15 million (£13m). A composed right-footed defender, Mosquera made 104 appearances for Valencia’s first team and reserves. He also featured in the Summer Olympics, representing Spain. Arsenal see him as a long-term investment in defence.
3. Noni Madueke – Winger
Arsenal signed Noni Madueke from Chelsea in a deal worth £48.5 million ($65.5m), rising to £52m with add-ons. The 24-year-old winger scored 20 goals in 92 appearances for the Blues.
Madueke won the Florida Cup (2023), UEFA Conference League (2024/25), and FIFA Club World Cup (2025 USA) during his time at Stamford Bridge. Before joining Chelsea, he had spells with Spurs U18, Young PSV, and PSV Eindhoven.
4. Christian Nørgaard – Midfielder
Danish international Christian Nørgaard joins from Brentford for £10 million ($13m; €11m), with a potential £2m in add-ons. The 30-year-old defensive midfielder brings experience and leadership. He has played for Lyngby, Hamburger SV, Brøndby IF, Fiorentina, and Brentford—racking up nearly 270 appearances for the Bees. He has 35 international caps for Denmark.
5. Martin Zubimendi – Midfielder
Spanish midfielder Martin Zubimendi, 24, completes a big-money move from Real Sociedad for €65 million (£55.8m). Known for his tactical intelligence and passing range, Zubimendi made 286 appearances for Real Sociedad’s senior and B teams.
On the international stage, he played a key role in Spain’s Euro 2024 and UEFA Nations League 2023 triumphs.
6. Kepa Arrizabalaga – Goalkeeper
Experienced Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga joins Arsenal from Chelsea for £5 million ($6.9m). He recently completed a loan spell at Bournemouth. At 30, Kepa brings valuable experience, having played for Athletic Club, Ponferradina, Real Valladolid, Chelsea, and Real Madrid.
With Chelsea, he won six major trophies, including the Europa League (2018/19) and Champions League (2020/21). He also lifted La Liga, the Champions League, and the Spanish Super Cup with Real Madrid in 2023/24.
